"Just let that sink in to the part of your mind where your dreams rest..."

Magical Inspiration that brings Beauty & Joy to Your Life...

Spend time on this property and you will agree with that statement!

Let's visit this true Hidden Gem tucked away in the hills above

Caney Fork Creek - imagine walking up the stone steps to the

"Century Old Log Cabin" that looks as though it was borrowed

from the Smoky Mountains: True Appalachian-style, hand-hewn logs.

To your right, a long and wide moss-covered path painstakingly woven

into the hillside providing a level, scenic walk through Walnuts and Oaks

by the owners over the past 30 years.  Oh...there's another moss path

leading to the Waterfall Overlook!  Take your shoes and socks off; let

your bare feet absorb the natural energy as you feel more connected

and grounded to the earth.  You will stop and spend time there on the deck.

Last Chance Preview - Tuesday, Sept. 12th - 12:00noon

One of the photos attached to this unbelievable listing is one of the

Louvin Brothers' album - Close Harmony.  Charlie Louvin lived here

in the 1960's!  More on the connection to music later.

The log cabin is believed to have been built as a "hunting cabin"

around 1930, later improved into a full-time residence and over

the past 30 years, evolved into a soulful comfortable home.

The Louvin Brothers photo shows them sitting on the original

stone fireplace.  The same fireplace remains today as the

Heart of the Log Home!  Explore - there's the kitchen, screened-in

tree porch, office, den, log wall bedroom, living room and lower level.

Guest House....just wait for this - Chalet Chapel on Caney Fork Creek

As the photographer approached this guest chalet, his comment

was "Wow!  Looks like a church!"  Wait till you see this place...

Enchanting Escape designed and strategically planted into the hillside.

The 16 windows on the upper level provide scenic vistas 360 degrees.

Your feet are walking on exotic hardwood floors; your eyes are looking

up toward the soaring bead board ceiling; your heart-rate is slowing

as the peaceful tranquility of this amazing relaxation retreat captures your spirit.

It is designed to be open and inviting.  It truly is this and more!

Walk down to the lower level and experience something different.

This area almost begs for friends to sit and chat, stories to be told,

songs to be written, music to be played, the soul to be restored.

Now I know when the owner returns to visit, this is the place they stay!

There is a jetted tub & custom steam shower...activate your circulation, recover faster

and Steam the Stress Away!  Amazing no longer adequately describes the Chalet Chapel.

In the photos you will note a family member, at work at home with the natural views of

Walnut trees, birds, squirrels, flowers - views in all direction.

And she has high-speed Internet access!

"Starts to Close at 6:00pm CST" - All online auctions have a posted date and time.  The time provided should not be considered a HARD CLOSE.  We do not employ a Hard Close; we use a Soft Close method of bidding countdown, for purposes of extended bidding.

Extended Bidding means the capability of the online auction platform to be programmed to extend the closing time of each lot automatically by a pre-determined time (by 2 minutes for instance) as long as there is still bidding activity until all bids have been placed. “Auto extend” has the same meaning as “extended bidding”.  This process is seen quite often during online personal property auctions; we also employ this same process during online real estate auctions.

Why does Hudgins Auctions use “Extended Bidding”… Fairness to all bidders! Essentially, it is a built-in function that adds a time extension after a bid has been placed within the final two minutes of the countdown timer.  This extended bidding feature is to ensure that the process is fair for all bidders. A similar process is used in live auctions, where bidding continues as long as participants choose to place additional bids.  In our live auctions, we often give fair warning, count down, etc. to allow all bidders opportunity to bid.  Should a bid be submitted during this “extended countdown”, the bidding always continues until a last and final bid is achieved.  The online bidding format has been designed to emulate the live auction – Fairness to all bidders!
