Escape to Blue Water Creek - 90 Acs - 3 Tracts

This Hickman County farm has been in the Chandler family for multiple generations.  This old farm has provided for many families - crops, livestock, fresh water, timber - and an abundance for all.  Located approximately 5 miles to new Hwy 50 and an hour to Nashville, the farm is considered an ideal "Get Away".

This area of Hickman County is known for farming and recreation (especially hunting).  The land has more than its share of deer & turkey and was the host site for the largest annual Dove Hunt in the region along the old powerline (Tract #3).  The TVA powerline has been closed and lines removed for several years.

The 90 acres is being sold at auction - offered in three tracts.  Blue Water Road naturally divides Tract #3 from Tracts #1 & 2, while Blue Water Creek can provide a division line between Tracts #1 & 2.  See aerial view for a better understanding of the proposed tracts being offered.

WATER - WATER - WATER  ... some say natural fresh water may some day be the oil of the earth....highly valued and in demand.  This farm has water on each tract and springs providing year-round fresh water.  Blue Water Creek traverses the farm from the southeast corner of Tract #3, north under Blue Water Road and providing a proposed division line between 1 & 2.  The main spring on Tract #2 has provided water to the old homeplace since the late 1800's when the log home was originally constructed.  There are three small lakes on Tract #1 - two of which are spring-fed - all are stocked, providing fun times fishing for bass, brim and others.

The original farm house was a dog-trot log home built in the late 1800's (located on Tract #2).  This tract has provided corn as well as many other vegetables over the years.  Partially fenced, this 16 acre parcel can easily support horses and / or cattle for any hobby farmer with just a little work.
