Walker / McBride Estate - Personal Property
The Historic Home sold recently and now the personal property items are online with the bidding period ending on Nov. 4th

First National Bank was founded in Centerville, TN in 1885.  J. B. Walker, Sr and his brother were instrumental in the beginning of this new bank.  The Walker family has been synonymous with First National Bank for over 135 years.  McBride became a part of the Walker family and lived in the historic mansion on West End Avenue.

This online estate features the remaining items from the Walker / McBride Estates.  J.B. Walker, Jr served in both WWI & WWII.  The WWI military uniform items are believed to be of Mr. Walker.  Henry McBride also served in WWI and some of the military items may be from his service.
Many furniture pieces are believed to be from the original First National Bank, including the ornate black leather set with lion's head carvings.
