The Board of Mayor & Aldermen passed a resolution during their Tuesday, Oct. 13th meeting to sell the Old Fire Hall located on Hwy 100 (Linden Hwy) just off the Courthouse Square in Centerville.  Great Corner Location!
The Board authorized Hudgins Auctions to sell via Online Auction this exciting property.  Bidding is now active with the opening bid at $10,000.  The bidding will end on Tuesday, Nov. 10th at 6pm.

The property features a building of approximately 6,310 square feet (combination steel and framed with brick facade on a corner lot measured at 0.26 acre.  The building was most recently used as the Town of Centerville Fire Hall; the town just completed its brand new fire hall and no longer needs this property.
Prior to the property being used as the Town of Centerville Fire Hall, this was the site of the Town of Centerville City Hall - the offices of the town's municipal government.
Originally, this building was constructed (after WWII) as a Dodge Dealership!  Dodge Dealer owned by Arch Bratton.

The subject property consists of a 0.26 acre corner lot located at Briggs Street & Hwy 100 in Centerville, TN (on Hwy 100). The improvement on the lot is a 6,310 square foot building (steel shell with a wood-framed shell in the front)

PROCEDURE: The property will be sold as a whole.  Interested parties must register and bid online.  Bidders also have the opportunity to BID LIVE at the office of Hudgins Auctions prior to the 6:00pm time on Nov. 10th as the online auction closes.
DOWN PAYMENT: A 10% down payment of the total contract purchase price will be due immediately after being declared the buyer. The down payment may be paid in the form of personal check, business check, or cashier's check. The balance of the contract purchase price is due in cash at closing within 30 days.
YOUR BIDDING IS NOT CONDITIONAL UPON FINANCING.
ACCEPTANCE OF BID PRICES: The successful bidder will sign a purchase agreement immediately following the close of online bidding.  The Town of Centerville Mayor & Aldermen reserve the right to accept or reject the bid submitted.
BUYER'S PREMIUM: A Ten percent (10%) Buyer's Premium will be added to the final bid price to arrive at the total contract purchase price paid by the Buyer.
CLOSING: Closing shall take place 30 days after the contract has been fully executed, or as soon thereafter as applicable closing documents are completed.
POSSESSION: Possession will be given at closing - Date of Deed.
TITLE: Seller shall execute a proper deed (General Warranty Deed) conveying the real estate to the buyer(s). Property will be conveyed with good, clear title. Buyer has the option to purchase TITLE INSURANCE.
REAL ESTATE TAXES AND ASSESSMENTS: The new owner will be responsible for the property taxes on said Property from the date of closing forward. There are no liens on this property.
EASEMENTS: Sale of said property is subject to any and all easements of record.
SURVEY:  No new survey; the property will sell per the existing deed.
AGENCY: Hudgins Auctions and its representatives are Exclusive Agents of the Seller.
